My first math stories with addition - Parents' Guide A (An Easier Path to Math) (English Edition)  An Easier Path to Math is a growing series of books teaching you how to solve math word problems from the elementary school and onwards. These books are meant for parents to help their children with their homework and math in general. The Parents’ guides contain the information required to solve the word problems with addition mentioned in their Picture books counterpart(s): My first math stories with addition - Picture Books 1 & 2 Initially the Picture books can be enjoyed with your child(ren). Easing them into the way word problems are presented. On a second or third read-through one can discover the steps described in the Parents’ guides within the word problems together. The parents’ guide shows you as parent exactly where to start and what to do next. The structured approach of handling math word problems using colors and sketches allows kids and parents to better understand how to deal with the conversion of text to math. This structure can be used for the simplest math word problems, but continues to be useful in the later grades too. Colorful pictures give the book a friendly and open feeling as well as helping in the understanding of the question.
